    PDF Stamper

Add Stamp or Signature to PDF – Free Online PDF Stamper

Upload a PDF, upload your stamp or signature image, drag it to the exact position you need, and download the signed PDF in seconds. Works with PNG (transparent background) and JPG stamps. All processing happens in your browser — no uploads, no sign-up.

    Why Use Our PDF Stamper

    Drag & Drop Positioning

Place your stamp or signature exactly where you need it by dragging it anywhere on the page preview. Resize by dragging the corner handle. What you see on screen is exactly what gets embedded in the PDF — precise pixel-accurate placement every time.

Apply to One Page or All Pages

Stamp a single page or apply the same stamp to every page in the document at the same position. Useful for multi-page contracts, invoices, or certificates that need a stamp on every page.

    Private & Browser-Based

Your PDF and stamp image are processed entirely in your browser using PDF-lib and PDF.js. Nothing is uploaded to any server, keeping your documents and signatures completely private.

How to Add a Stamp or Signature to a PDF

Sign or stamp any PDF in four easy steps — completely free, no account needed.

    1

    Upload Your PDF

Click the upload area or drag and drop your PDF. The first page will be rendered as a preview canvas so you can see exactly where to place your stamp.

    2

    Upload Your Stamp or Signature

Upload your stamp or signature image (PNG with transparent background works best). The image will appear on the PDF preview ready to be positioned.

    3

    Drag to Position & Resize

Drag the stamp to the correct position on the page. Drag the corner handle to resize. Use the opacity slider to adjust transparency. Navigate pages to preview the result.

    4

    Download Signed PDF

Choose to apply the stamp to the current page or all pages, then click "Apply & Download". Your signed PDF is ready instantly.

    Common Uses for PDF Stamping

Adding stamps and signatures to PDFs is needed across many professional and personal situations.

    Signing Contracts & Agreements

Add a handwritten signature image to contracts, NDAs, or agreements without printing and scanning. Works with any signature image — PNG with transparent background gives the cleanest result.

    Official Stamps on Documents

Apply company stamps, approval stamps, or "PAID", "CONFIDENTIAL", or "REVIEWED" stamps to invoices, reports, and business documents. Stamp all pages at once for multi-page documents.

    Academic & Certificate Signing

Add official stamps or signatures to certificates, transcripts, and academic documents. Position the stamp precisely in the designated signature field.

    Government & Legal Documents

Overlay official seals or authorized signatures on legal documents, affidavits, or government forms. The transparent PNG support ensures only the ink shows on the document.

PDF Stamper – Frequently Asked Questions

Upload your PDF, then upload your stamp or signature image. Drag the stamp to the correct position on the page preview and resize as needed. Choose to apply to the current page or all pages, then click Apply & Download to get your stamped PDF.

PNG with a transparent background is ideal — only the stamp ink will appear on the PDF with no visible background box. JPG images also work but will show a white or colored rectangle around the stamp. You can use our Stamp Background Remover tool first to create a transparent PNG from your stamp photo.

Yes. Select "All Pages" before clicking Apply & Download to embed the stamp at the same position on every page in the PDF.

No. All processing happens locally in your browser using PDF-lib and PDF.js. Your PDF and stamp image never leave your device.

Yes. The opacity slider lets you make the stamp fully opaque (solid) or semi-transparent, which is useful for watermark-style stamps that should be visible but not obscure the document content.

PDFs up to 100MB are supported. Stamp images up to 20MB are accepted. For best performance, use a reasonably sized stamp image (under 2MB) — large images increase the output PDF file size.
